Thanks for the list as I did not managed to copy all.

So, we are expecting another letter by NCPS on their class allocation in Dec right? How about their class timetable, etc.? Also coming together?

You know, till now I really don't know what to pack for my child on the first day and what time the school starts on 04 Jan (pm session). I don't recall the school mentioning it yesterday.

Did your child also mentioned to you that they did 3 activitiy worksheets in class yesterday while we attending the briefing?

Is there a handbook given out yesterday?
Hi, the school time you can refer to the booklet \"parent support group\" in the orange folder, page 34
      P1 & 2 - mon, tues, thurs & fri (12.45pm-6.25pm)
      P1 & 2 - Wed (12.30pm-6pm)

          Dear mommies,

Thanks for your updates on the items to bring for day 1.

btw, has the handbook for teacher communication being issued already ? If so when was that ?

I don’t remember having this item in the book list, nor was it distributed yesterday.

          Thanks.

          Rgds,
          Ming

            Hi Ming,

I suppose handbook refers to notebook (the small blue one).

To confirm, I think as sysherlene said,we have to wait for the school time table at later date then.

Btw, do we have the handbook? I think I only have the blue note book.. did i missed out anything here?

As for the CCA, the booklet they given us is additional classes that need to pay it, how about the school own CCA? They also have international dance, chior, badminton etc.. Is it compulsory for P1 child to join in any CCA from the school (not those that need to pay?) If yes, then we can enrol them to those CCA that is compulsory to take.
So far I understand that the school CCA include Speech & Drama in Term 3 , Music class and Arts classes only.Badminton etc, I think it considers as Alumni Association Weekend Activities courses. (Have to Pay our own).

                Dear parents,

For those of your with kids at NCPS, would you know if all students will be given access to the NCPS portal, LMS portal and online library available at the main NCPS website ?

Also, there is a whole list of different programs organized by the Alumni association, based on your experience, what are the classes that are well-delivered ?

                Thanks.

                Rgds,
                Ming

My personal views is, it all depends on what activities/programmes your child interested in / so far calls : shows much interest in since young.

What I saw it is written as handbook, but I think should be notebook instead.
Yah, my girl told me there is three worksheets given to them.

Hi, need to know something from experienced parents here… haha…

Chinese flashcards - will teachers be requesting that the child’s name and class be indicated behind every flashcards?

If that’s the case, I’m going to print some transparent stickers with my kid’s name and class on it and start sticking it behind the 100+ pieces of flashcards rather than writing it. Haha!..

There is a separate box that come with transparent plastic that can be used to keep each card. outside the box you can write her name and class. hope this helps.
