U r most welcomed, pinball, dagong99 & YY1205. Glad u find the information helpful. Hope it can help clear some of ur doubts and uncertainties. I can fully understand the worries p4 parents have, especially those who have a 1st child going thru the GEP, since I have been thru it myself. Personally, I feel that when we parents r more informed of what is going on & what to expect, then we can help our kids better in terms of time management and preparations. I have benefitted from the sharing of many helpful parents here too, thanks to all KiasuParents. :lovesite:

Hi 25hr mama, tks for sharing. This comes real helpful ! Yes, most of the parents here are 1st timers having our kids to enter GEP. Each center may have its own to GEP briefing, personally I find TN's presentation slides are user friendly. Easy to comprehend and provide some detailed information which DD's sch do not include.

BTW, DS's chinese teacher just advised the composition is still 二选一。

Gotten the HCL paper back . Apparently, DD used her 'own words freely'

No Lah. Refer to the comprehension part. If this SA2 overall agg score is bad, will prepare DD to downgrade to normal CL in P5.

We intend to downgrade DS to normal Chinese next year,he is struggling with HC, barely pass only

Tao Nan has given out the mock SA2 papers - Eng, Math and Sci for the kids to do this Sep holiday. Good to expose them early on what is expected for the actual paper. Nothing at all fr DD’s school. Wonder other than Tao Nan, have other schs given out the mock papers ?
