          Hi all mummies

My post may be off topic sorry but can I find out from the triplets or twin
Mummies did you conceive your babies naturally or thru Ivf or etc?

I am a twin myself but am not so lucky to conceive twins 😞

I have a 6 year old boy and now then I thought of having another bb but not easy as age is catching up! In my mid thirties now ...
          Hi Blessedwife

I'm in my mid thirties and a SAHM too. I have a 6 yo girl and a pair of 1 yo girl-boy twins. I tried to conceive when my eldest was 2 yo and it took me nearly 3 years to succeed. It took me this long partly coz the husband was based overseas and the daughter started preschool here so we could only 'work' on #2 when he's back every 2 months. When he changed his job and relocated back to Singapore, we thought we would succeed within a few months but that didn't materialise too. Finally after we tweaked his travelling schedule, it worked. The husband's work requires 40% travelling. He used to travel before my ovulation, coming home 2-3 days before it. But we changed that to a week after my ovulation. And 2 months later, I conceived my twins naturally. No family history of twins and no medical interference.

            Hi Pummanuel πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing. You are blessed to have boy/girl twin πŸ™‚
Just a question I thought we are supposed to try before ovulation ? Should try on 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 day if menses is 28 day cycle ?

Also due to our age sometimes we might not even ovulate am I correct?

            Sorry so many questions

Hi Blessedwife, sorry I missed your reply. Yes we should be trying before ovulation. My gynae recommends Clearblue ovulation kit that produces a smiling face on the 2 best days to get pregnant. The logic behind the kit is written on the leaflet in the box. At our age, we should still be ovulating unless there is some condition. You can try getting the ovulation kit first and if you have any concerns, visit your gynae and work out a plan with him/her.

                Hi Hi

                Very new to this forum:)
My twin boys are currently in full day child care and have been in different class since day 1. So they are used to be separated during day time. Back home, they will stick to each other again.

Welcome, delifairy. Ya, good to separate them so that they can learn to be independent. For my 2 that are in the same class now, I will spilt them next yr. The one that is in diff class is requesting to be the same class as his bro, ha, no way.

hi, can i join in this club too?

name, location, multiples, gender, yr of birth, other children?

I’m at Geylang, BBG born in 2007

Am very worried about P1… I do plan to put the triplets in different classes but i do foresee that sitting down to do 3 sets of homework is headache.

Those of you who have multiples in different class, can you share if you are SAHM or FTWM?

                      Sure, Kitab! :welcome:
I went thru this. I think for a start, it's a good idea to put 2 in same class. Otherwise, it may be too overwhelming to handle 3 sets of homework, 3 sets of timings (spelling, tingxie, show and tell, tests of all kinds under the name of holistic edu) and at least 6 teachers!
Now with 2 years of experience (mine going P3 next yr) n I am more confident to handle 3 of everything, I am putting them in 3 diff classes next yr.
I work part-time for the past 4 yrs. Prior to this, I am a FTWM.

i feel sorry for the 3rd one in a separate class. so left out la. so prefer 3 classes. i know the consequence of this decision. sigh... but they will surely distract each other if the are in the same class and i really hate to separate them 2 vs 1.

Even if in the end i have to send them to 2 different school,.... boys in boys school and girl in girls school, i still want the boys in 2 separate class.... so altogether still 3 sets of hwk.

hmmm.... i am considering PT when they start P1 or SAHM cos i think i cannot cope if i continue FTWM plus 3 sets of hwk.

                        haha...... stressed. :xedfingers:

also hope to receive hand me downs for text books cos i think 3 sets of everything very siong.. hopefully can inherit from one of you end of next year.
