Answer is 3, because the table top is parallel to the ground.

Gravity only needs to be overcome (in order to move) when the surface is tilted and the object is traveling against gravity (upwards).

Thanks mamago. One more question. What is the direction of the magnetic force between the steel table top and magnet?

                  Hi
I could not access Link4 and do not know where is the question in link 5.
For link1,The clue is that you have to answer the question based on the diagram given.

For link2,Answer:The magnetised coils would attract to the iron tube.Hence, the magnetised coils could not have a force of attraction between the plunger. Thus, the plunger cannot push out the ball and the catapult would not work.
                  b)Any magnetic materials

For link 3:I will let you do a and b.Diagonse the question well and you should be able to answer the question.
                  Note:a b and c are realeated.
c)In balloon B, there is water in it.Since water is a poor conductor of heat,it retains heat for a longer time and allows heat to escape from it to the air inside the balloon, reducing the rate of heating the air in it unlike balloon a,where there is no poor counductor of heat in the balloon to reduce the rate of heated air, thus, there was more heated air in balloon a and expanded. Thus, balloon a burst.
                  Cheers

I give you the Q39, but I give them separately, in pictures and questions as I do not have enough space to photo, otherwise it will be too small to read.

The pictures is on top of the questions.
