      Funx3:
      naggo-nitemare:

Can any rgs pupil or parent answer my friend's question on how the sec 1 classes are allocated. Is it roughly like RI, ie gep girls clustered in a few classes together with several high scoring mainstreamers, and the remaining classes are mainstreamers? And whether psle results also has a part to play in allocation aside from elective choices? Tks.

The Ans to your Q is ....
Yes, Yes, and No (for non-gep class, Above PSLE Cut-Off Mix with - academic, sports, cca dsa gals, spread out over ALL Classes) šŸ˜‰

      :thankyou: happy sept hols!

No. Definitely not for 313 and 413.

No. Definitely not for 313 and 413.

If not wrong, the top PSLE girl for last year is not in 113 either.

No, because 313 and 413 are grouped based on their subject combi. For 113 and 213 i can't give you a guaranteed answer, because every class has people that do well and usually the teachers don't tell us the average class GPAs so nobody really knows(or bothers) šŸ˜‚

Thank you very much. As you can imagine from my username, I do get spaced out.

One more question, if I may. I was made to understand that all the Sec 1 classes will be SBGE but going through the thread, I get the impression that only 109~113 are recognized as the GEP class. Did I get my initial understanding wrong? :? :?

Only that 109-113 are made up of GEP students and top PSLE scorers, so they would progress at a faster pace.
