Yes, usually, when it is NOT Dec, we will remember. Then, when it arrives, we forget. Symptom of \"old married couples\"?
Never seems to be able to remember after 1 year of marriage let alone 12 years. Life goes as normal, off to work we go. -

We only follow the ROM date cos the custom one is insignificant to us, only to our elders. LOL And we didn't do the \"ROM first then apply for flat, get flat and then have tea ceremony\" route. Anyway, the marriage cert is only a piece of paper to us; we considered ourselves married already even before ROM. -

mine also dec ROM. this year 9th Yr.

Time flies ah. Ours is pretty easy to remember cos very near to Christmas.
Usually husband will take leave during my birthday and Customary Wedding day...but for this year, i spent it on SA1 preparation ! dinner out with the 4 of us though..consider as celebration? next year no SA1, so probably will try to think up something if ILs can babysit.

Thanks for ur reply, schellen.
Enjoy ur current \"SAHM\" status.

We registered our marrriage the same day we had our customary dinner (Solemnisation just before commencement of dinner).
If not for the fact that we decide to start a family and give our child a legal name, we may not even be bother to go thru the whole thing. Like what schellen mentioned its more for the elders/family.
Although we are legally married for 5+ yrs, but we have always feel that we are a couple for more than 10 yrs. -
We dont celebrate wedding anniversary & dont bother to remember the date either cause itโs not significant. Iโm the one that pluck the date out of thin air to suit our relatives in Mโsia.
We instead remember 10th of July. The fated date when I go chasing this stranger for his phone number.
Btw, Schellen, Iโm reading between the line here. Is my congratulation due? Has dd2 finally arrived? -
BlurBee, thanks! Dunno how long I will be SAHM this time.
EN, not yet. But getting reaaaallly uncomfortable and tiring. My hips give out at night so I end up walking (if you can call that shuffling walking) like an old woman after 7pm or so. -

You mean, you will quit your job to be SAHM for DD2? -
winth:
I have already quit my job so am currently a SAHM but dunno if I will be SAHM until DD2 can go to infant care (very very ex and a bit out of the way) or until DD2 can go to CCC. My ex-job was not family-friendly in terms of working hours and environment.Hi,
You mean, you will quit your job to be SAHM for DD2?
