Was in Seoul F&E for 6 days last Oct. You gotta keep the luggage that contains the stuff that you wanna claim refund when checking in at the airport counter. After getting your boarding pass, you need to go to the odd size check-in counter for the staff there to verify the item u wanna claim the tax refund. He will chop on the refund forms. To claim your money, the booth is somewhere behind a row of duty free shops after passing immigration

of coz dont mind, not kaypoh, this forum is for everybody. any input is much appreciated.
yes i'm aware & its better to pack a separate bag so as to make it easy for everybody esp for custom checks. it's also better to reach airport earlier to do tax refund (if any) as definitely will be long queue. -

u r of cos welcomed... thks for the link u provided... so tax refund is 10% as stated there... thks so much.... -
Not all facial cosmetic shops can claim tax refund. Normally, upon paying, you have to tell them that you want to claim the tax refund and the sales staff will staple the receipt with the tax refund forms.
I was at Faceshop at Myeong Dong and they said cannot claim tax refund but the guy gave me a lot of freebies and samples instead
Same thing happened at the Nature Republic at Coex. I was able to claim for Innisfree and Aritaum. -

I only claimed back S$30 for the tax refund. Then a China tourist next to me claimed a stack of 50,000 KRW notes! Must have bought some huge machinery :yikes:

u can check out outerwear with duck down filling, the lower ones are usually polyester filling or other synthetic material..
duck down filling will be better in protection, same as those i buy for my kids... also to buy good long john (merino wool or equivalent), which will be better than to wear layers and layers of clothing...
