No matter whatever we buy, it is important to read the storybooks sothat the child can implement the phrases effectively and more naturally. I find Roald dahl and geronimo stilton books effective. And it really helps in writing.Hi!

HAPPYH - Yes, def agree with you on the importance of reading. However I am still trying to figure out ways to \"translate\" the reading to writing... :scratchhead: My DS reads storybooks q often and I pick most of the books for him (altho' he also has his own preferences). But his compos mostly still begins with \"One sunny day...\"...
So I thought by reading up good creative writing compos (with pictures) may help him to open up his mind alittle more.. of course coupled with the help in school and enrichment classes... -

My dd form teacher discourage them from reading Geronimo Silton as the spelling of certain word are spell wrong for example famous it is spell as " famouse" -
