All about MyHomeTutor CD-Rom

Hi all…
My son has been using Myhometutor syllabus math and creative math cd rom since P2. He’s now in P4. He doesn’t attend math tuition class. As he’s able to do self-study, I could safely depend on these discs. I find the content very systematic and clear. I often let him complete the discs a semester ahead during the mid- or year-end holiday breaks, thus he’d be kept informed of the coming months’ syllabus in school. The discs also allow me to keep in touch. I would select questions to go through them myself so as to understand how they are required to solve them right now. I started at P2 level as I was completely clueless about model drawing and heuristic process. With these discs, I gain a clear understanding.
Content wise, I see a great relevance. However it all depends alot on your children’s learning style and how much discipline they have with or without supervision, as I know some children merely click and look at answers without attempting to work them out first!
Hope my little input helps. -
