      GLORYmum:
      Hi

Dd said that OAS paper was not eraser friendly unlike the ones used in school. Need to rub very hard till background pink color had faded.
Any dc share the same frustration?

      Hi, GLORYmum.

Try the STABILO Legacy (art no. 1186). This eraser is by far the best, very soft rubber, less abrasive, can even erase the 5B lead thoroughly.... DS used it for his LC correction today... No problem about fading pink background print...

(but the only problem is, it generate lots of eraser dust...)

I think that it was very different from the OAS that the school gives for shading. What I don't like about the exam OAS is the quality of the ink, with just a slight rub, the red-pink backround starts to fade. Will it affect the marking? I'm afraid if it does.

Exactly! Too much rubbing might result in an invalid answer.

          Oops :yikes:
Anyone hv info on how this faded OAS may affect marking?
Dd did rubbed and slightly faded too, but she is sure it's ok...and I am like :xedfingers:
It's still visible but worry that computer won't read the intended answer or even take it as unanswered 😢

Son told me both English and hanyu pinyin names are printed on his OAS answer sheets. Double checked his 2B pencils last night…he said all stationery must be put in a clear ziplock bag today. Whew, LC is over…but NOW, we can put everything aside and charge for the other papers.

                    For EL LC, text 7:

Base on the story, the old man probably ______.
DD's ans is - did not get the right book
                    What's yours?

Mine is did not read the book. The old man DID get the right book, it was said in the passage, thats how he knew about the boy. If he read the book, he would not have turned old, but he looked old, so he got the right book but did not read it. :?

My DS also said did not read the book as the old man has the book.

                      Hi mamago,
Thanks for info. I wonder if 1186 the same as 1196, just that the 1186 is smaller. Dd has stabilo 1196, it's black exam eraser...is your 1186 the same?

                        This is balu_priya’s DD.

What are your answers for MT LC question two? ( The one about the main aim of the run) Mine was to inform everyone that running helps children to be happy. I almost put the everyone should be happy option, but the passage said that it would help children NOT all to be happy.
