      This question was discussed in the past as there was a problem with the number, change 456 to 462 and you should be able to solve the question.

          may I know the source of the question ? I think this is beyond P6 syllabus.

          I did a quick calculation using trigo and pythagoras, Area A = 1.72 cm² (to 2 decimal places, and with pi=3.14).

              hello can someone help me wif my hw? Justin baked some pies. 1/3 of the pies were chicken pies & the rest were vegetable pies. He packed 3/4 of the vegetable pies into big boxes & the rest of the vegetable pies into small boxes. each big box of vegetable pies made up 1/12 of the total no. of pies. Each small box of vegetable pies made up 1/16 of the total no of pies.


              How many big boxes of vegetable pies were there?

                a) 4 children decided to find out their total mass. as they did not want their friends to know their individual mass, the children decided to weigh themselves 3 persons at a time. Although the children tried all possible ways of grouping themselves into threes for weighing, only 4 different readings were repeatedly recorded on the weighing scale.
                99.5kg, 108.1kg, 111.7kg, 116.3kg
                Find the combined mass of the heaviest and lightest child.

                b) At a swimming meet, School A had 18 more representative than School B and 6 fewer representatives than School C. The ratio of the no. of boys to girls from the 3 schools was 1:3.
                The raios of the no. of boys to the no. of girls in School A, B and C were 1:3, 1:5 and 2:5 respectively.
                How many representatives from the 3 schools were there in all ?
