I have not started him any enrichment class but will be sending him to childcare in Nov.

:lol: My younger one is a far cry from his brother...so playful, so mischievous...suits his chinese zodiac sign to a T.
I assume that your son will be joining his sister in the same childcare? Then that will certainly make transition easier.
I have no immediate plans to enrol my younger one in any enrichment at the moment as my 'funds' are tied up in my elder one's P1 preparation. :oops:

I realised my son is a bit slow in his speech. Any tips to help me?
He cant pronoun very well, unlike his sister who is faster in speech. I thot with a elder sibling the younger one shld be faster but not very true for my son but he is better in his fine motor skill.

I am quite worry abt him, we tired to guide him but the progress is slow.

Same as you, all my fund tie down by sending my ger to classes. Kind of unfair to my son.

Actually I am very drag to sit in with my son for enrichment class and i realised enrichment class ard his age is very expansive.

Since I am going to send him to CC, I shld wait and see.

Cannot imagine I have to spend all my weekends running ard just to attend class.

Hm...generally, girls fair better linguistically. One of my friends with daughter (a few days younger than my 'puppy') is already doing quite advanced (compared to my boy) in speech. While I feel that my younger boy can relate well, my mum said that I'm the only one who can understand his mumbling. :roll:

As I am a sahm, I intend to make up for the 'loss of enrichment lessons' with more interaction time with me.
On the contrary, I actually look forward to sitting in with my boy during lessons...then can pick up tips to teach/reinforce in case when I have to withdraw the kid from the class for whatever reasons.

Our saturdays are already burnt chauffering the elder one around. The young one just tag on happily...and at times frustrated when I forbid him to enter his bro's classroom.

Daughter age 6 and son age 4+.
I have the same problem as you, my son tends to progress slower than my girl when he was at your son’s age. But this will progressively change.
So any good primary school that you are eyeing on?

oh I am eyeing on Kong Hwa Pri as I stay less than 1km from the school.

Same for both kids. When Jie jie went for ballet class, didi wanna follow. When didi went for trial class, jie jie wanna involved but some of the center just wun allow the older kid to join in althot I said she will not disrupt the class but they just wun allow. End up my ger cry big time.
