The taiji wayang is such an embarrassment. And that suit in the orchid garden is also painfully hot! Wa lah, where were all our diplomats man? You mean nobody from our side help them with the dressing protocol before coming down here? I mean, for all our Asean meetings, it seems the top guys were usually dressed in batik shirt hang loose etc. "Nobody" and I mean nobody would wear a suit out to the garden in our hot humid mid-day sun. Poor William!

[PS: Actually I would have loved to see both the royal couple dressed down in summer frocks and thogs and having a ball of a time at the orchid garden. They are still so young, c’mon lighten up man! ]

Any perv can go to any topless beach (and that’s almost ANY beach in Europe) and take photos of bare breasts. I am sure Kate’s aren’t anything special to look at.

Just another reason the Brits should dump the whole royalty thing.

Actually this whole royal thing is so passé. I know it sounds sour grapes, but what's the big deal about being Princess, Duchess of Cambridge or Wales. Even grand daughter of the Queen is so ordinary. She used to be a wild child...pierced tongue and clubbing.

She is a royal, but she has a life too.

She is an individual with own likes, dislikes...
Royal mean cant smoke? cant suntan topless?
Imagine in the public she alrdy gotta appear prime and proper. Cant even yawn if she is bored. So in private is ok to relax and be herself right? Im gvg her a break.

Yes, she has a life but unfortunately she is part of royal family.
Can our PM smoke in public ? He can, but what does it speak of him?
When a person has a certain status, he/she should be mindful what they do in public.

agree, there's this protocol that they have to abide by.

Once any woman chooses to be some princess or duchess and marries into the royal family, she can jolly well forget to live an ordinary life. She will be scrutunised and criticized for anything and everything. We know mother-in-law issues are always there...imagine if the mother-in-law is the Queen...that is many times more terrifying :nailbite:

No freedom and life is forever controlled whether in the palace or worst, in public.

In 15 years’ time, hope that both will not have change in their hearts.

It was so wonderful spending on those tiny solomon islands. How humble are the natives.
