Hi, i3mumHi,
Has any of the parents have their kids enrolled in Nanyang Primary School through phase 2B as grassroot leaders? Can share your experience & which year?
Thanks
My ex colleague had enrolled her daughter in NYPS through phase 2B as grassroot leaders in this year. Her daughter will be in Pri 1 next year. As what i know, she was staying in Yew Tee that should be under Hong kah but she was a grassroot leaders in Holland-Bt Timah. May be she was working at Bt Panjang. -

Hi, puzzle
Hi puzzle,
Wow you must be super on the ball where able get EM in Sep 09. I heard some of them almost 12 months still being placed as Observer.
Are you in the 2010 Primary 1 Registration? I guess you would be qualify as long you joined by 30 June 2009.
for what i know is u have to serve 1 year service then u can apply as Phases 2B. As a observer is not counted. You have to become a EM and serve 1 year so ur serving period is from sep 09 to sep 10. -
:?: Can I register my child in more than one school under Phase 2B, one for PV, the other for GRL?

No, you can't. Once you choose a sch to register in for Phase 2B and are successful, your child's details are keyed into MOE's system. If you try to register your child again for Phase 2B in another sch, the staff there will access the MOE system and know that your child has already been accepted into the other sch. -

Hi i3mum, grassroots work for all schools, just that methodist schools will include members of the like minded church as well (ie one more group to factor in).Hi mummy of 3, thanks for your help! I have heard of another mum saying she was doing PV and there seems to have some vacant slots for grassroot leaders. Yes, probably your friend is volunteering in Bt Panjang. I wondered if Grassroot leaders work for methodist schools as well , though it falls in under the GRC?

You can join CCC or CCMC in Buona Vista, Cashew, Holland, Bukit Timah, Zhenghua or Ulu Pandan in Bukit Panjang GRC. Unlike RC, CCC or CCMC members do not need to reside in the area which they volunteer. However, their membership is not as easy as RC member.Hi,
