Dodot,
this whole thread is dedicated to this. have you read through? -
rakshu:
Hi,I am looking for a Kindergarten near bukit batok for my daughter.
Any one would like to suggest a good kindergarten teaching Tamil as one of the language in K1 and K2.
Thanks
I am looking for exactly the same information too. Have you found any?
Thanks :?: -
Dear all,
Anyone have view or your kid is at Learning Vision @ Sunshine Plaza? How’s their programme, teacher, enviroment…etc. I really need some advice. Thanks all. -
Hi,
Does anyone has any reviews about the pre-school here in CCK/Yew Tee that prepare the children well for P1?
My child is currently with Just Kids at Bkt Batok for full day child care. For the price of $600++, I could say that it is pretty acceptable for childcare but can't say the same for the curriculum.
I wanted to move my child closer to home where he could have a good childcare environment and quality curriculum.
Anyone have any recommendation? :?: -

Please note that Gentle Love Schoolhouse has changed management w.e.f. 1 Oct 2009. The name has also been changed to Seeds Schoolhouse. sashimi and I were recently notified of the departure of a few staff members including the previous principal, Ruth.
For personal reasons, we have decided to withdraw our DD1 from their BASC. -
Ooooh schellen, that must be very sad news for
you guys. Ruth sounds like a fantastic P and also
a person of great character and sincerity... from
both sashimi and your reviews. I was planning to
ask you with regards to the student care there
actually.. Oh well.. so next plan? Permanent SAHM?
If sashimi agrees that is... or IF you feel that you
can go back to being one again..
-
Ya, sad news. Anyway, since I’m already a SAHM for now, might as well take care of DD1 too to save the money spent on BASC. DD1 has also been hinting that she prefers to be home when sch starts next year, not because she dislikes BASC (in fact, she enjoys meeting her friends there) but she just prefers to be home. I think the benefits (other than $$) are that we don’t have to keep nagging at her and making her having a rushed schedule after she is picked up from BASC.
I don’t know how SAHM-hood will be like this time round with 2 DDs to take care of. Guess I’ll wait and see. sashimi is only willing to let me be SAHM until DD2 is old enough to go to a CCC. I’m a bit reluctant to send her to an infant care centre cos of the expensive rates and insecurity (no matter how good the centre is, I will always feel better if I can take care of her myself).
Well, BASC at Seeds shouldn’t be any different at the moment. I have no idea what the new mgt’s plans are, and whether the BASC teacher remains unchanged. According to sashimi, they are already starting partial reno works.
