I think the mother must have been very frustrated. Imagine after taking care of her special needs child for 29 years, her hb has an affair and newly married, I'm not surprised she just wanted to leave the burden to him instead. She probably felt it is unfair that she sacrificed her whole life for their child and all she gets is his unfaithfulness.

I think the father is even more appalling! To leave the wife and rejected his own child. I don't see why the mother is more to blame than the father.

yes, father is also wrong to do all those things... but as a mum, if everyone dun want ur own kid, will u still abandon her??

It's probably coz she is venting her anger and frustrations. Haven't u seen so many mothers killing their own kids? At least she didn't kill her. We don't know her situation so we shouldn't judge her. Something must have made her snap. Just because she is a mother, we shouldn't expect more from her than from the father. The father abandoned his daughter but no one criticized him. But when she abandoned her daughter, everyone pointed fingers.

Same like all of us here, I don't believe only the mothers should be caring for our kids. We shouldn't be holding sole responsibility on them.

To take care of your mentally retarded gal for 29 yrs is no easy feat. And with hb betraying u and remarrying. I think she’s really very poor thing. Such a hard life that came to nothing. Then because of this matter, everyone is blaming her. We can never understand her frustrations.

for this case, the mum could be due to some of the above reasons or others...

but throwing dd at the roadside is still heartless, if she's not careful enough, could be hurt by other oncoming cars..

there are many ways to end the problem, or at least ease the problem.. i'm sure there are ways that are less dangerous..

i pray that i could survive as long as i live…

              human being are weak…

recently i went to food court, saw a girl who is around 20++ , with a maid & her mother around 60yo… she sit on wheel chair, she always open her mouth, i sit next table to hers, whenever i talk to my son , she will repeat what i jus say, she will look at ceiling lights and stemming…by shaking her heads…

she has a damn PRETTY Face!!! and very pearly shining complexion & skin color… to me she really very pretty… WHYYYYY, her mother will have this thinking too. why my beautiful daughter is suffering this…

her mother still having hard time to make her eat, cuz end up she has to feed her & on her iPhone with Doreamon cartoons, and the daughter will sing loudly in food court… all eyes look at their table…

the mother jus focus on her solely and dun care about the surrounding… imagine, her daughter is already 20plus yo… and siting on wheel chair too…

i think she is non-verbal with physical disability too…

again, she born with pretty face & skin… her eyes pretty , eye lashes so long… her nose high , really can be a Actress kind of image… and she is tall & nice figure too… skin perfectly stunning…

Then wanted to send to relative's house. I'm sure the roadside isn't very busy type. Else the news will be of her daughter killed in accident and not picked up. It is indeed reckless of her but desperate pp do desperate things.

A lot of research shows that when there’s a special needs kid in the house, the father is the first one to want out. Many marriages end in divorce because the fathers are unable to accept and deal with it.

I see a lot of these at the kkh rehab. Some kids gotta lug an oxygen tank everywhere they do. It is very sad so must be thankful that at least our kids have no physical disability and they can be trained to overcome their difficulties.
