my maid came yesterday. As of now, she has been superbe, exceeding my expectations. I hope it’s not a "new" thing and she can keep it up hehe.

what'd you do madinked - whichever way it goes? In case they say it's too expensive to get (or send or some other excuse)would you still trust her? She even used her own flesh and blood to ,,, :shock:

I am going to remind her tonight to get the death cert. After which, I'm not going to say anything till end of the year. If she can't produce it by then, really, we all know the real truth. If it's real, she would produce. I'm only going to show her the site to let her know the extremity of her game.

Yesterday was supposed to be 2nd day of her mum's death but my dear girl hardly cried and had a voracious appetite. I am trying hard not to judge.

kiasimom, HRH leaves tonight - and it can't be any earlier man...I've not told her...still seething at the broken tap, deliberate for sure!

So will be telling her later this evening.

Will most certainly share with you guys the drama. Spoke to a friend who's been in a similar situation and she's suggested getting a male friend to go with me to the airport. My dad would be with me coz DH is away. Please for me. Many thanks.

I think it would be a good idea to get a guy friend or cousin to go with you. The maid may become disraught as this is last minute "breaking" news. I heard of maids who try to jump out of moving car when they are being transported to airport.

maybe because i was both strict and encouraging at the same time LOL i know how to play with people's minds hehe

the first thing i told her was: I will feed you very well and I will give you enough rest, but if you are lazy or if you steal, I will send you away.

I gave her a $10 calling card and told her she could write as many letters home as she wished, I will pay, but only the first calling card is on me, the rest she has to pay. She said her family has no land line, and only one HP shared by the whole family, and it isn't switched on much *sob sob*. She has not used it yet. I also loaned her an English-Bahasa dictionary.

Her eyes were filled with happiness and gratitude LOL *hope it's true and not acting hehe*

She did everything automatically without much need for instruction. I told her she could wake up at 7am, she woke up at 6.35am lol I know because i was in the toilet at 6.30am.

Last night, I told her to go to sleep at 10am. She went. At 10.30pm, i noticed the light was still on. I thought she forgot to switch it off. I went in to take a look. She fell asleep reading the dictionary OMG.

Lets hope it will last, as of now i'm dead pleased only prob is the language barrier, her English is really bad.

Sounds like yr maid has the potential of being the good maid. Hope it is not at the beginning yeah.

I have a few maids. First week they are like very automatic, very fast. Each time you are around in the house you will see her moving here and there, looking for things to clean, to arrange.

When you are about to have the \" hmm.... this looks the Miss Maid-Right... I think I am lucky this time. \" feeling, she started to lose her enthusiasm and get sloppy and forgetting this and that. :celebrate:
