I thought I read somewhere from the rws website - it's two super single?Hi,
For First World Worldclub room, how do you ensure you get the room type with 2 queen beds? I tried to make a phone booking to ensure that I can confirm at time of booking but I'm told it's fully booked for non-members. I told them that online it's shown as still available, but they told me I can't choose room type online, and I can only call up to make a request after booking, but there's no guarantee of getting 2 queen bed, but this is quite ridiculous because the other room options for worldclub are 2 single or 1 queen, which doesn't really accomodate 4 persons.
Can anyone who booked the 2 queen bed worldclub room advise me how to go abt it? -

It sounds very shiok right - personal entertainment, massage chair etc? But imagine this - you got a spoilt one (seat).... Sian Liao. I ever travelled on one \"personal entertainment on board\" coach and my seat is the spoilt tv lor.... Super turn off!Hi,
Is it advisable to travel on those VIP coaches with personal entertainment system and massage chair or normal ones will actually do?
Any one coach recommendation? Transtar? Grassland? Fivestars? WTS? Any suggestion which is better?
It goes without saying that 16/18 seated coaches are more comfy. But they come with a higher price tag. if I am not wrong, only transtar/regent star has 16/18 seater coach.
As for 25 seaters, most travel agents have them. I am a bit off touch, not been to Msia for 3 years on coach. But my bet is five stars or WTs have newer coaches? -
I think for a family of 4, book the family room at Theme Park Hotel. I stayed there 2 weeks ago and it was really spacious with 2 queen beds. They run out of these rooms very quickly.
But my kids fight a lot so I was thinking it may be a better idea to get 2 deluxe / standard rooms side-by-side next time. -
Hi Cherrygal,
Yeah, i’m also thinking of getting Theme Park Hotel Family Room, since confirmed is 2 queen bed. But I heard it’s slightly less convenient than First World from the Bus Station and the Indoor Theme Park? Or it’s actually ok?
I thought of side-by-side rooms, but they say it’s not guaranteed. -
Hi,
Do you all usually just get the day pass or the annual pass?
I’ll be there for 4D3N, so thinking maybe should get the annual pass, in case kids want to go to the theme park everyday for some time, and we’re not restricted and can go in as and when we want. But I reckon 2 days is actually sufficient. Do you think it’s necessary to buffer extra days for in case the kids still want to play some more? I’m just afraid we might cover everything in 2 days, and so it’ll be wasted, especially since I may not be going again within the 1yr membership period.
Other than the theme park, I’ll only be going to the Strawberry Farm and Mushroom Farm, which I reckon won’t take too long? So rest of day will bump ard at theme park again? Or is there much shopping to do?
Have any of you tried the Water Park? How is it? Fun? -
hi cherrygal,
btw, what room view did you have? Is the city/garden view the preferred option? -
We got a lower floor so we got a garden view. It was peak so we didn’t have a choice.
Both my kids didn’t like the rainforest splash park as the water was too hot for their liking. My boy commented it was like soaking in a hot spring.
We didn’t get the annual pass as we usually only stay for 2 nights max. 1 full day is sufficient for the outdoor theme park. Night time is usually reserved for indoor theme park and arcade.
We found it quite OK to stay at Theme Park hotel as we could return to the hotel easily for afternoon naps and lunch when we visited the outdoor theme park. It is not that far to First World plaza if you take the sheltered internal route. -

Anyone knows any fruit picking farm around genting area?
Or any interesting place to visit outside Genting? -
junemum72:
Read somewhere about the strawberry farm. The blog mentioned that can take the cable car down to the bus terminal and the strawberry farm has a buggy pick-up there. If not, just take a cab down from the hotel.Anyone knows any fruit picking farm around genting area?

Wow great, thanks for sharing. I assume the other places of interest in their web are within the same farm?
Will you be taking a cab down or from the bus terminal.
Years back, we tried taking the cable down to the terminal and did see a farm signboard that says within vicinity. But we roamed around by walking only saw the stable and gave up. -

From what I read from other blogs, it looks like all the farms are next to each other. Eg. http://cavinteo.blogspot.sg/2013/01/genting-strawberry-leisure-farms.html

I'm going to Genting in June again and just saw the above strawberry farm blog. It looks nice and I would like to visit with my family.
I remember I went to the temple and there are some nice shops selling corns, sweet pototoes too. -
Any good restaurant nearby to recommend other than having to have meals at the genting mall?
-
Anyone been to the strawbbery farm? How do u get there?
Thinking of going somewhere near by but cooling in July. Genting and Cameron highland came to mind. -
