scammers are usually targeting at ppl who are ignorant or greedy.. not trying to say all victims are greedy, but if they calm down a while to consider why is there such an offer that is too gd to be true, they wun fall into the trap..

of cos there are other reasons involved as well... most likely when a person is desperate for money to use too...
Scam is wrong means it is wrong. Don't blame that to the victims greed.

Some victims are kind, the scammers use sympathy tactics also.

i hv relatives been scammed before... and after listening to their story, i tend to find them greedy in the first plc if not they would hv thought that no such thing as free lunch..

not blaming the victims, is to warn all not to be greedy, as it does not pay..

we cannot prevent or totally avoid scammers, all we can do is not to be greedy or gullible to believe them..

if u get what i mean...

I am not so sure what kind of agreement did I sign up in the past. What I had in mind at the point of time is only to let my parents go for holiday so just sign it up. I was naive to fall into such trap without understanding the crap that I signed up for. I did not pay in full sum until now, so my membership is not even activated yet for 6yrs. Thats why they sent me a letter to warn if my balance is not clear by so so date, legal action will be taken against me and all legal fees will be beared by me. Any good advice on who or where to seek help, please pm me.

Please see private message that I have send you.
I suggest that you just ignore them until they really call you to the court which they never do.

After 6 years, there is nothing much that you can do at SCT as SCT only handle cases that are less than 1 year.

Have you tried to book before? You may private message me as Jerry Tan does come to this forum to read.

I agree. I strongly urge everyone who writes in the forum to be discrete as much as possible. Do not try to expose to much informations in forums as this is public site. Who knows who is reading ! Better be safe and protect ourselves, you don't want to pple like JT to pre-empt things or capitalized in his evil deeds.

                  Gardenia2012,

I just send you an email. As you know, your info is scanty, and I am not able to give a better advise base on that.

As victims may know, Asia Pacific Bullion and Gold Guarantee both come under MAS alert list.

And these two companies are related to D8 and i-discover as Jerry Tan has sold them to Lee Song Teck. Recent victims have told CASE that they were offered a gold guarantee should they decide to pay up the remaining amount to The Discovery Group which now own D8 and i-discover.

In my opinion, in view of the leatest development, you can ignore their legal threat. Just report to CASE asap.

Saw Lee Song Teck in the news last night?

Both his companies come under MAS alert.

The reporters asked him how does his companies generate profits. He said, currently there is a mass selling of gold in the market at a cheap price and they manage to buy those cheap bullions. And that is one way that they generate profits.

                    That is bullshit!

The current physical market is very tight. If that is how he generates profit , then why would he want to pass the profit to others.

Agreed with Weihan. Its ULTIMATE BULLSHIT for that "Company"

According to the victims who were interviewed in news last night. They were either pushed away with excuses or reasons they can’t claim back their gold/money, some were given payment voucher to get withdrawal/claim on certain date but they were not being honored.

This time round, I believe it is true that majority are greedy people who fell into his buaya(alligator) mouth. 24% per annum profit? i only know credit card interest is that high per annum but not profits or interest. maybe i am wrong though. Lucky I did not sign up this shit when they offered this gold thingy option. Once bitten, Twice Wise! No free lunch in this world.

                        .
But those interviewed last night were victims of Geneva Gold. Gold Guarantee and Asia Pacific Bullion want to lure them over. Anyway, they are all the same since they have the same scam model.
