Bus fare is usually calculated for the whole year and then divided by twelve. So it is not that we are paying for nothing during the holidays. The bus operator would have informed u of the terms and conditions regarding withdrawal, maybe you can check the handout and guidelines from them.

i read somewhere few years back when dd was P1, there is no way we can cut corner for bus fare… we have to pay the full 12 months including sch holidays… if not who is paying the driver plus the bus maintenance?? if we really want to split hair they can take the full year amount and divide by 9mths instead of 12 to remove all sch holidays…

My son’s bus service provider collects June, Nov and Dec by the end of July. No chance to escape paying. Think you can cancel only if you are discontinuing the bus service totally. If you cut now and rejoin again with the same driver, he’s gonna blacklist you…

This is an unfair practice that is going on for donkey years. No service rendered in Dec & Nov yet need to pay.

May I know do you need to pay Dec fees too?

Dec's bus fees was paid together with July's when Term 3 starts.

June's bus fees was paid together with Jan's when Term 1 starts.

:moneyflies: amount is alot if you have more than 1 kid..... 😓

Sorry, just to get it right - dec was paid with jul, Aug and sept fee?
