      Eugene can advance 6m in 8 sec, so 12m in 16 sec.

      Then he falls back 2m after 1 sec rest.
      Nett, he advances 10m in 17 sec.

      It will therefore take him 9 x 17 = 153 sec to reach the 90m mark.

      From the 90m mark, he will need another 12m (ie. 16 sec) to reach point B.
      153 + 16 = 169 seconds

            Earlier post was incorrect. Sorry.

            White Triangles: 1+2+3+4…+100= 5050
            Black Triangles: 1+2+3+4…+99= 4950 ( Gauss Theorem )
            Total: 4950 + 5050 = 10000
            4950/10000 = 99/200

            Hence, answer is 2.

                      Malek and Wahab had 525 marbles.1/6 of Malek’s marbles and 4/11of Wahab’s marbles were blue in colour.The rest were red in colour.If they had equal number of blue marbles,how many red marbles did Wahab have?

                        i think i can help..

                        since 1 unit of Malek is equal to 4 units of Wahab, therefore :

                        Malek should have 6x4=24u
                        Wahab has 11u

                        24u + 11u = 35u
                        35u --> 525
                        1u --> 15

                        11u - 4u = 7u (Waleb's red)

                        7u --> 105 (Ans)

                        hope it helps..
