      Can anyone help, have a few questions to solve n not sure of the answers. :?:

      Question 1:
      A notebook cost $3 and a comic book costs $5. If John spends all his money on buying notebooks, he has $6 left. If he spends all money on comic books, he need another $8. How much money does he have?

        If each family member gets 5 oranges, there will be 3 oranges left. If each family member gets 7 oranges, there will be a shortage of 7 oranges.

        a) How many members are there in the family
        b) How many oranges are there in the carton?

          Question 3:

          On a river cruise, the boat can only take 3 passengers. 16 will not get onto the boat. If the boat can take only 5 passengers, 2 passengers will not get onto the boat.

          a) How many boats are there?
          b) How many passengers are there?

            Libby read her story book from pg 3 to pg 9 on Monday.
            a) How many pages did she read?
            b) If she continues to read from pg 10 to pg 98 on Tuesday, how many pages did she read in all from Monday to Tuesday?

              Question 5:


              Two clocks were adjusted to chime at different timings. Clock A Chimes every 2 hours and clock B chimes every 3 hrs. If on the first day after adjustment, both clocks chimed at 1am, how many times in total will they chime together in the following 3 days?

                Question 6:

                The number of apples in a box is between 40 and 90. If Betty put these apples into bags of 7, 4 apples would remain. If she put these apples into bags of 8, 3 apples would remain. Find the total number of apples in the box.

                  +6 12 15 18
                  multiple of 5 10 15 20

                      a) 16-2=14
                      5-3=2
                      14/2=7

                      b)7*3=21
                      21+16=37
                      or
                      7*5+2=37
