      ok...i think i understand wat answer key is saying. the qsn says that metal of same diameter so in math it is true that T has larger exposed surface area when OPENED. but by fact the qsn did not tell to open they just said to leave it like that. so ans should be 1 not 3. u know answer keys are not so correct all the time. thanks

            Help needed for Henry Park Prelim 2012 Paper 1 Q8. Do you include the "Lime caterpillar" in the population of the "Lime butterfly"? The suggested answer includes.

              3 is correct. As it has many folds, which means surface area is the biggest among all the others (not just the top, but the side folds as well), it should cool fastest.

              Imagine those car radiators or aircon compressors, you can find many blades and these blades help to cool the machine down due ti airflow in between these blades or folds.

                    A school's original prelim paper which has oiginal answers provided by teacher so its definitely correct.
