Hee hee I think alot of parent is willing to take leave if their child get selected. Thanks to all for your replies.
If the results is to be release so late, say 10 Oct, parents with shortlisted kids will be left with little time to make arrangement on 16th & 17th Oct (i.e. selection test dates). There is no schooling on both these dates and I understand not all schools will help to organise the logistics.
Anyone can advise?
I know some school when there is alot of the student get selected, they will cater a bus to transport their students to take the exam. -
My DS heard from his friends in tuition centre that results will be out next week. Good luck to parents who hope their kids can get selected for 2nd round!

looks like round 1 result not yet released. If not released today or tmr, then it has to be next week as No school on Friday and no lesson on Thurs (Children’s Day Celebration).

Does the school call the parents or they just inform the child during class time?[/quote]Boy was given a GEP selection test test slip, detailing the test dates, test subjects(Eng, GA1, Math, GA2), test centre, room and desk number, time to report and what to bring (e.g. 2B pencils...etc). The principal made an urgent apperance in his class just minutes before his last school lesson to hand over the notice to the qualified kids.JAR:

It also mentioned that the outcome of this test will be released in early nov through your school. A briefing for pupils selected for the GEP and their parents will be held on 10 Nov 2012 at 8:30am. -
