Yes, my DD has more often hw on maths and CL as well. I have never seen my DD bring home science hw; it is seldom of her english work. Yesterday still no hw except HCL \"δΉ εβγ
I think it's all depend on teacher. DD has hw everyday without fail. Unsually needs 1 to 1.5hr to do. Recently the few long weekends all 4 subjects fullhouse with more worksheets
. I let her finish everything in two seperate half day. For dd she has more hw on Maths and CL. Maybe the Ts for these 2 subjects are more ON.

Not to worry,
its not all that bad till u see the results after SA1,
thats the time when the girls will get a feel of how its like in p5 and some parents may \"wake up\" and give their kids more classes. errr, hope im nt frightening u. but that was how it was during my dds year, It was only in P5 that I saw some girls fail maths n science or obtain low marks but they did improve in p6 tho
.
So let ur dd enjoy her p4 days, every child has to pass p5 n 6. Just dont let ur child forget what she has learnt in p4. -
This thread has been quite quiet recently. Guess all of us are busy with SA2 prep
Any idea if the school has some programmes for P3 girls who cleared round 1 of GEP selection, but eventually not selected for GEP? And also maybe did not manage to get into the 2 E/F class?

If your girl clear the 1st round of GEP test, she should has the high probability to get into E/F class next year. -

yes, she cleared the 1st round

But this year her P3 results have been very volatile, more frightening than a roller coaster ride. I think I need to start taking high blood pressure pills....
With less than 2 weeks to go for SA2, I am really very uncertain of how she will do in her SA2. But she is still happy-go-lucky...and sometimes gives me really scary results when doing other schools' test papers....and I don't really have much time to coach her either. But the time I reach home, before 1 hour is up, she needs to sleep already....
So now I really hope for the best, but prepare for the worst :xedfingers: -
Believe in your girl, she will give you a surprise for the coming examβ¦

Just to share, my girl got her GEP results back today. She cleared her round 1. But I don't think she can make it to the E/F class. Her classmates are so academically strong. Eg. English Test upon 30, the highest score are 30, average is 25 and my girl scored 24, can you imagine it's below average!
I heard from a teacher that this year the P3 girls are very strong in their work and not easy to to E/F should their score falls below 90??? -

I share the same sentiment as you. My girls is just so happy go lucky too! She's totally not worried about anything. So careless with her work too. I really dunno how to coach her on this! Her Maths been losing marks due to carelessness. Sigh .....
