      tankee:
I once heard a couple complaining, something like ....

after paying the condo and car instalments, where got money to have baby?

      Pretty common.
      Lists include :--
      - single room at Gleneagles/Mount E.
      - must feed only organic food
      - no $ for TLL
      - top range stroller
      - baby clothes all branded (everything in fact must be branded)
      Everything must be top range..............
      Dunno to envy or :slapshead:

Although I have 3 kids, I donโ€™t really think about why I have kids.

Same here. But I have only 2. Not having a third cos physically & mentally I believe I may not be able to cope plus age/health consideration.

No, you have definitely not short-changed your kids. Breastmilk is not just organic, it is the GOLDEN standard. ๐Ÿ™‚

:rotflmao: I know what you mean.

The old folks around my neighbourhood keep telling me when I'm older I will wish that I have more kids. I think I will rather live with the regret of having only 3 :rotflmao:

I didnโ€™t read that article. I donโ€™t see a need to. When I was first pregnant, we were really like that - lack finances and mental preparedness for children. But no, not because we were paying for a condo and car. But because our career just took off and we were still paying for hubbyโ€™s education loan. But the lack of $ and mental preparedness did not stop us from having a child. It was the best thing I ever did. Looking back, I have nothing much I cite as my achievement, except for raising this child. And I would love to have more. I donโ€™t see a need to read that article because I believe whatever reasons cited are likely to be excuses. But still, I am not saying one needs to have more and more children or one must have children. I am saying, have children if one can. While the hard work and sacrifice that comes along with having one cannot be measured by just money alone, the satisfaction of raising children is unique and tremendous.
