I have met the principal & told her about the incident. On that day of my meeting with the principal, nothing happened & therefore when the principal told me that she’ll speak to the teacher after exams, I agreed. However, the next day teacher said & did nasty things again. I’m monitoring my girl’s emotion & what’s happening in school daily. My girl doesn’t like someone to be upset, especially with her. Therefore, this incident has affected her quite badly. I’m worried coz of the coming exams. She’s betrayed by BFF & personal attack by an unethical teacher.

Yes, I’m very mad & disappointed that this is happening in the school but what can I do??? Do something now or wait till after exams? My girl has been sick twice in less than 2 weeks since this incident happened.

        Missy Mommy:
What would you do if your child has an unethical teacher who has been doing and saying many things that mentally and emotionally affecting your child?

My girl was from IJ TPY, she liked all the teachers , even teachers from other classes. I knew IJ teachers are very patience, kind and caring. I used to volunteer helping up in many occasions, had met and seen the teachers surrounded by the happy kids :grphug: . They might be stern sometimes but doubt anyone will say nasty things.
        What did the teacher say???

I agreed..the teachers I encountered in the school have been very kind, warm and supportive. CHIJ TP has a very loving environment including the security guard uncle/aunty, school bus drivers...Dun think I have yet to meet a teacher whom I will frown upon...

This one I must say, is amazing...even the security & operations manager will stand in the middle of the busy main road to allow school buses to leave premises to send the girls home everyday. They do so at their own risk. This is dedication. :salute:

I agreed that the security guards and all other teachers we encountered so far are nice. But not this one after knowing what she said to my girl… She said these…

                1. "Your friend betrayed you. Serve you right!"
                2. (My girl apologised 3x) "I don’t want your sorry. I don’t care about your sorry. I want a written apology and your parents responsible for it"
                3. (To the class) "I just want to avoid her."
                4. "Your God will not like what you’ve done."
                5. (My girl forgot to bring the reply slip, she said to the class) "Because she’s spending too much time on the net."
                6. (My girl forgot to bring her spec and told teacher that she can’t see, she asked my girl to sit right behind)
                7. (My girl can’t hear clearly where the teacher told her to sit and asked again) "Where else, on my head"
                8. (Class went through test paper and my girl deserved another mark, went up to her) "You’re not listening" (Teacher asked another girl what marks would she get if written that answer, and the girl said another additional mark but teacher said) "Too bad, I’m not going to give you"

My girl has always love school and teachers there. But this incident make her can’t concentrate during this form teacher’s lesson and didn’t dare to ask anything because this teacher has stared and glared at her. She has fear now.

This teacher has taken matter too personal instead of taking this opportunity educating the students. If there is a need to punish, then the other girls involved should also be punished, especially the one who started it.

                What should I do?

Hi Missy Mommy, I suppose your gal is in the upper primary . Not sure it works not, asked other gals in the class. Do they encounter the same , check with the parents and if all having the same problem … Should write in to the Principal . If still can’t help, feedback to MOE

Hi Puzzle, great minds think alike… We must " get to know" this teacher . If true we need to get rid of her otherwise it is hurtful to the little gals. My gal is in this school too.
