SJI has always been my dream school for my DS due to the strong focus on character-building and training the boys to be a real gentleman who serves the society. I also saw how close the boys were during the Open Day and after talking to the teachers, I really think this is the perfect one for my DS. Unfortunately, my DS did not make it for their DSA for their IP track but we will not give up. We will wait for PSLE results and try again. The higher fees will not deter us from trying to get my DS into SJI, not even the longer distance when they temporarily move to Bishan in 2014.

Based on new Sec 1 Posting Exercise information, you can also choose SJI IP First Choice then SJI O Level Second Choice

I have been told by many that SJI offers a good environment.

My son wants to go to an all boys’ school too.
Hope his PSLE results will give him a chance.
Erm…just curious, if son is lucky enough under the O level route, how much is the school fees? If he can get in, I am willing to pay the fees and I’m sure hubby has no qualms, including the further distance.

If you are Singaporean, o level track will be $340, IP track will be $380 next yr. both fees incl misc fees of $50 and $80 respectively.
                  PR and foreigners pay more.

I did mention I have no qualms regarding fees and distance...but I am not looking at IP. I am thinking of the O level 4 years route. $340 a month for singaporean kid. :? Thought the expensive fees is for PRs and foreigners.
