My dd is P2 this year. which class is the best class in P3?
No best class because in P2 there is no streaming yet. Seems that No.1 goes to 3A, No. 2 goes to 3B.. and so on.. basically quite random. -

There is no best class in P3. The girls change classes from P2 to P3 and are evenly spread across classes. -

heard the school will accelerate from P5 all the way to P6 whether we like it or not.....
First half of P5 was quite bad but after that, I think my dd got used to it. Phew. I think P6 is going to be stressful so I won't start to push her until maybe June but must go slow. Don't get punctured just after prelims!
Agree with this. Must pace...pace...aqeqiq:
The final hurdle is PSLE. Accelerate at the right timing.
I saw many students punctured at P6 compare when they were in P1-P5 level. -

not all, some will but most are prepared mentally for PSLE to quickly come and be done with it. The students should b ready by then, heard quite a number tat felt they hv done enuff and tired of too much practice. -
My DD is P4 this year. I really cannot tell any differences between her life in P3 and P4. She is still blur blur…no much home work…alwasys bring her sticker book for trading…
Cannot image the big jump in coming P5… -
FireflyMom:
There were 7 or 8 girls went through round 1 in my DD's class last year. 3 girls went to the GEP class finally.
Morning! Any idea how many in total went through round 1? Anyone with past year statistics of RGPS girls going through round 2?mwchua:
This thread has been quite quiet recently. Guess all of us are busy with SA2 prep
Any idea if the school has some programmes for P3 girls who cleared round 1 of GEP selection, but eventually not selected for GEP? And also maybe did not manage to get into the 2 E/F class?

:thankyou: -

Actually, there is a lot of action in P5. Eventful year. Embrace the ups and downs. They all go through it in their time. I am going to embrace my dd's P6 year next year. It will be stressful but it will be memorable.
