I can truly emphatise with that. I guess that being the school culture, we have to learn to work around it. Do wish your dd all the best in combating the schedule and sustaining her momentum! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

My dd started the 2011 papers in Sep and has completed the Maths & EL papers (her fav subjs). Did only 1 CL ppr and realised she did the wrong one  . As for Science... sigh... sigh...

i think most of us started in sep ba.
my boy completed his EL exam papers in the Sept holidays...only the MCQ šŸ˜“ . he skipped the OE compre.
he completed the science exam papers too over the holidays...only MCQ too šŸ˜“ lol. skipped the OE and now the papers sit there waiting for me to go through with him. :spank:
almost completed the math papers....decent scores, so we concluded our math revision and focusing on others.
for CL, having a tutor really eases my load! i no longer need to go through compo or compre with him. just need to ensure that he learns his tingxie and read through the notes and go through corrections. if after paying so much for a tutor, still need me to go through with him, i :faint:. really must see his personal performance. if still cannot perform after spending so much time on chinese, i really dunno what to do. :slapshead:

just hope he can remain in the same class when they get promoted next year.

            Hi j.a.m

Should be able to know all the result before school term ends... My dd already know all her result..
            Hi Pinky Piglet,

Understand that is so for most schools as many would have completed the exams by end of Oct. I'm actually wondering about this situation regarding CNS dd's school, as her exams starts end Oct and will only end on Nov 2. That leaves only 2 weeks till holidays begins (assuming her last day of school is also Nov 16). Usually report books have to be out by parents-teachers-day, which incidentally falls on the last day of school for my dd. šŸ˜„

Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure since her school has been operating this way for years, they must already have their system set up for such efficiency. Just wondering aloud, that's all...

DD just finished her EL paper 2 today. She has CL paper 2 tomorrow. So glad that we've got the weekends and the 4 days PSLE marking days to prepare for Science and Maths. DD's school is covering Pri 5 topics for Science exam and DD is still unsure of the topics. She's making me really nervous. :nailbite: Hopefully she is able to master the topics these few days.

Can't wait for her exam to end on 22 October! :imcool:

Hi Jedamum, yes, Pri 5 :nailbite: šŸ˜“ but thank goodness the tuition centre provided a separate session (at no additional cost šŸ˜‰ ) to coach the kids on these topics. BUT dd told me \"Mummy, only 2 lessons, how to remember?\" :slapshead: :faint:

You know my gal does the same thing for her CL topical assessments and pprs!?!! Always only did the MCQs and left the 造叄 and 理解问答 OE blank! Also feel like :spank: her...

Very tempted to send her for tuition tho still resisting... but very bad for my bp leh... to be fair to her, she's maintaining her grades to our agreed level to date, so though I vomit blood every time I sit down with her, no reason to send her - YET! she knows it and she'll do this to me all the time -> :politebleah: :politebleah:

                        kids...
