      hquek:
Agree with cel-tang and sahm tan. There is no precedents nor has MOE give sample papers to schools so there still remains question marks in the air.

however, the pointers given about lateral thinking, talking to our kids about topics and about the stuff we see were really good. I tried practicing on my kid but fever lasted only 1 day. Will have to keep it up (after his SA2).
Yes, the pointers were useful but a lot of work :faint: :rotflmao:

Wonder should I start subscribing to the newspaper 😂

The new syllabus seems to require a lot more out of parents but like what the instructor mentioned, it is helping our kids get ready for their future and not just to do well for exams.

Am also going to subscribe to newspapers and maybe buy Newsweek?

          Dear Mummies,

Seem like TAS is quite popular in Kiasu parent. I am planning to send my girl for english enrichment class. Me not sure whether to send her to TAS / LP / LW / TLL 😞
Any mummies care to share after sending TAS, does your child benefit from it / result is better?

            Hi,

I am not quite sure about the other centre. But for TAS does benefit for my child but there is one thing you might need to take note the class size is quite big where the max they go is 16. Therefore, it will be wise that you are try out the trial class and talk to the teacher before deciding which centre to sign up.

Best to go for trial or holiday class to try out. TAS class size is big but teaching is clear and my kids enjoy the classes and have shown improvement in their work. I think it really depends on the individual…if the centres have trial class, go for it. If not, you could talk to the teachers and find out more about their teaching methods?

I find now its better…especially when they have another number to sms. It is easier for me to get them now.

My kids are in TAS and one of the centre you mentioned but that cannot be named. Both are good, my kids prefer tas but I still keep them in the other centre as they have been there so long and being ks, I am scared if I remove their marks may go down. I would say LW more for lower pri (based on feedback from friends), LP seems good but no personal experience. Anyway whatever center you go to, a lot also depends on the teacher teaching your kid.

thank you so much for the feedback 🙂

I like TAS but classroom size is big, i don't think my girl can concentrate..she is very talkative and cannot focus... (how i wish is less than 10 as i don't mind paying a bit more) 🙂

heard from friends that \"the centre cannot mentioned\" and TAS teachers are fresh graduate...not sure whether is true or not...

Yes, the TAS teacher is mostly fresh graduate but I believed that they are enable to engage the kids during class. Personally, they also able to monitor the kids and feedback to us if there are anything need our attention.
