Has for the skiing, they will pick me up frm airport, and send me directly to our accommodation in Yongyang. After 3 nts stay they will send us to Seoul hotel.

We are also going for 10days in mid dec till aft Christmas. Went to local travel agents to enquire. Most of the trips are for 8days.No English speaking tour. Cannot understand a word of Chinese, and also we wanted to extend our stay, which the agents are unable to help cause the reason being given as peak season.
In the end we book our tkt and arrange with a local agent in Seoul to take care of our needs. Will be staying in yongyang for 3 nts and there aft in Westin hotel in Seoul.
We have never followed a tour before. This will be our first time. So lets see.

We choose to stay at the Westin cause it is near the shopping district, the train station is nearby and also the lotte shopping is just next door. Though it is a bit more EX :moneyflies: , we also choose this htl for the heated pool, it wud be good for winter cause am not sure how long we cud last coldness outside, at least if we have a hotel with facilities, we will not be bored. Just our thought.
Next on the agenda is to look for winter wear for our DD as she as out grown most of it. Any recommendations. -

If I may ask how much the whole trip would cost you in Sg$ just for transport, accomodation and YongPyong Ski Resort for 8 days?
You guys actually use the swimming pool in the hotel while on holiday? Why not go to the Jjimjilbang for family? aka Sauna/Spa ?
Whoa...now Seoul is already @15 degrees, it's getting cold. -
Hi Dasalo,
Sori it should be YongPyang. My spelling mistake. For the cost for 8 days, you may send them an email they might be able to help.
Has for the spa we will be going to Jjimjilbang, but then again when we are back at the hotel for relaxing it is always nice to hangout at a pool, before going for a nt out for makan or shopping.
Talk abt shopping is there anywhere we cud buy summer cloths in Seoul. From what I understand frm trip advisor , manly only winter wears are sold.
Any suggestions. -

No way to buy summer clothes in Seoul during winter. You may want to try Ewha Womans University.
Follow this link.

You may still find some summer clothings at some stores if lucky. -
Hi Yes we are paying slightly more as we wanted a private transfer and also our accommodation are on the higher end.

Korea’s winter is harsh. Important to stay in a good hotel with proper heating. It makes a difference. Same choice of hotel as mum03 for the same reasons. If I remember correctly, the Nanta theater is also nearby.
