I heard only those who took HMT got into the top 3 best classes.

No I don’t think so. HMT result will not be included in the total aggregate score i.e. normal Chinese, maths and English. Hmt is only graded A,B…, heard those who score A will continue hmt in P2. They will do streaming after P2, based on P2 overall result. Thus I think is unlikely only pupils with HMT and good result can go best classes. Moreover, RVPS has pupils that take other languages as second languages too.
