Now she's tinkering over the piano and 'enjoying life' with di di...

Maybe can get her to give him tingxie. He's having tingxie later in enrichment later...

Told her to read up some ε₯½θ―ε₯½ε₯and science textbook but she just bargained down the number of pages to do and went off her merry way...

          :?

lol. i am not looking at CL compo...used to get him to do 2 compos a day for a week as part of prep. i burnt out la. his rate of retention of what we went through is very low, so i blew my top and told him i am not repeating this regime again (we did this since P1 and it is a repeated cycles of not improving from the last stage despite going through what went wrong with his essay). last SA1, his newly-engaged tutor also burnt out marking his compo...lol....but she had no complaints πŸ˜“ then we realised that his basics is quite weak. tutor identified that sometimes he can intepret the picture wrongly. we were told that wrong intepretation of intended story, the teacher will downgrade the whole essay by one band despite the nice language. so now we are focusing on him getting the story line correct and correct conclusion and coherent sentence.

EL is done. Still left with 4 more. I'll very happy if dd could complete 3 papers (1 each - CL, Sci, Maths) everyday during these 4 days. πŸ˜‚

To keep up with the mometum and consistency is important during this period.... i found the marks do vary +/-10 for diff schools paper coz according to dd some topics not covered in her school :? maybe she's trying to smoke me :slapshead:

πŸ˜‚ KSP, no your DD wasn't trying to smoke you. It's true. 2 of the schools' papers have topics which include the Upper Block Science. πŸ˜‰

Nan Hua and SCGS on the entire Water Cycle.

Time passes so fast and today's the last day of PSLE marking day. I told DD must jiayou and make full use of the afternoon and tonight since we didn't do much the past few days.

Oh, is the water cycle part of upper block science? Dd did a worksheet on the water cycle where they taught change of state, ie. water evaporates to form water vapor, which later condenses to form rain. It seemed a natural follow on from learning about change of state.

Her EL composition topic was also about crime, and the picture was the similar to that given by another school. She compared notes with our neighbour, who is in P4 too. I wonder if the schools are given compo topics by MOE?

Tomorrow’s Science, but she has spent the last few days playing wif her cousins. Maths onMon, then she can play!
