i can try to help :
12% –> 48
1% –> 4
100% –> 400 (no of women at first)
5u –> 400
1u –> 80
2u –> 160 (no of men at first)
400 + 160 = 560 (total people at first)
120/100 x 560 = 672 (total people in the end)
672 - 560 = 112 (addn people)
112 - 48 = 64 (men added)
160 + 64 = 224 (men in the end)
224/672 x 100% = 33 1/3%
hope it helps… -

Q1. Ben and Carl shared some 20 cents-coins in the ratio of 2 : 3. Carl then saved 2/3 of his money and was left with $2.
How much money did both of them have at first?
1 - 2/3 = 1/3 (left after savings)
1/3 --> $2 (10 coins of 20c)
3/3 --> 30 coins
if carl has 30 coins, ben should have 20 coins.
30 + 20 = 50
50 x 20c = $10
ans : $10 -
verykiasumummy,
Thank you…
