My DD attended the T B in Hougang mall. Subject is science. We find it quite useful and the teaching really helps a lot. Mindstretcher is also equally good. My the other DD attended HA Science in Mindstretcher. The practice worksheets are comparatively same as TB.

Hi sweetiegalaxy,
Initially I also thought of mind but despite of hearing quite a lot of negative remarks from ks forum. Having some reservation. I have booked a slot with tb on their Dec camp. I will try and see how it goes. But heard some parents thy r gd in teaching mind map that helps the Kids in science. For me , I have also tried mavis, don’t really like it. Kids have to mark their own answer after finishing their work. Teacher don’t do that. It’s good u go down personally to tb and mind to make a comparison. -

Hi Ny1969,
Thanks for your valuable feedback about tb. That is important for parents like us to ensure tat we have make a right investment for our child on the right program. Did u attend tb 5 days science camp before u enrol your child for the regular class? -
No. We attended the mindmapping session only.

Hi Ny1969
I see! But I was told that if I attend their power learning workshop, there will be a further fees reduction if we attend their regular classes. So did you get a discount for the fees for the mind map program? -
Yes. Discount but I forget how much is it. U may chk with them again.

Hi babes,
Hope ms works well for my youngest who likes daydreaming
now i oso headache to think which to pull out for my next p5 gal, chinese enrichment or chinese compo to take out ? She sure dun haf much time left to attend both.. Any advice, mommies ??
Also do u all heard about yang laoshi at kovan ? -
Hi Sweetiegalaxy,
Try to priorities on which area your child is weak at. No point sending them to so ma ny enrichment. Ended up, they may lose interest in the subject. If is too handful to attend 2, drop one. My gal currently with Yang at kovan. I joined them for a one month lesson trial. so far teachers are not bad. Small class size. But no given homework to bring back. just like beijing. There is gd and bad! Depends on what u r looking at. i m still thjnking whether to continue with Yang or to switch my gal to ts.For primary Chinese, i feel that tien hsia framework is better & is closer to school syllabus. But unfortunately, ts do not have any vacancy now. Most of the time slot has been taken up by their existing students. I am also being put on the wait list. But of course u can still give a try for Yang. Different parents with different view. -
