πŸ˜‚ KSP, no your DD wasn't trying to smoke you. It's true. 2 of the schools' papers have topics which include the Upper Block Science. πŸ˜‰

      which ones? for which subjects?

son woke up at 10am today. now still doing his e-learning homework! :faint:

Nan Hua and SCGS on the entire Water Cycle.

Time passes so fast and today's the last day of PSLE marking day. I told DD must jiayou and make full use of the afternoon and tonight since we didn't do much the past few days.

Oh, is the water cycle part of upper block science? Dd did a worksheet on the water cycle where they taught change of state, ie. water evaporates to form water vapor, which later condenses to form rain. It seemed a natural follow on from learning about change of state.

Her EL composition topic was also about crime, and the picture was the similar to that given by another school. She compared notes with our neighbour, who is in P4 too. I wonder if the schools are given compo topics by MOE?

Tomorrow’s Science, but she has spent the last few days playing wif her cousins. Maths onMon, then she can play!

Hi Laura02, yes water cycle is part of the upper block and it’s quite a heavy topic.

Oh the SA2 EL compo was similar to another school? I recall for SA1, the Chinese oral picture was similar to what another school had too.

In my opinion, this is a p3 type question. Plant system. Stem transports water to other parts of plants. Only thing is xylem which the teacher will have to introduce the term to them.

                        Hee. Tks. πŸ™‚

If any of your kids use i-Science, the experiment using this similar concept can be found in the systems activity book for lower block. Er... Using celery I think.
