I really pray and hope that the COP this year will be lower than last two years. My first two choices for the schools are pretty \"ambitious\", first one 6 points higher, the second one one point higher. πŸ™ Waiting for 22 December 2009 is really killing me 😞

I think most likely your children will get 2nd choice...

Based on EESIS is not accurate because it is only for Singaporean. There are Permanent Residence who got 276 but not offered EESIS.

But based on French, German & Japs language is a correct reflection of top 10%.

Anyone here who has a dd or ds that got 248 and offered French, German or Japs ?

My ds got 248 and offered French,German or Japs with only A in chinese πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

            Thanks for your contribution.

Now that we got 248, anyone here who has a DD or DD that got 247 (or lower) and was offered French, German or Japanese ?

            Thanks

My guess is 6 points is too difficult to bridge.

Most likely 2nd choice. But if 2nd choice is an affiliated school, then not so straight forward. If not many students currently in the affiliated school do well to qualify for the top school, then the number of vacancy may drop (bcos not many can leave for top school) thus increasing the COP of the affiliated school.

If your 2nd choice is not an affiliated school, then probably your kid will get 2nd choice.

But if your 2nd choice is an affiliated school, then maybe 2nd or 3rd choice.

Good luck to all of us kiasu parents !!

My DS friend got 247 and was not offered the 3rd Lang. Therefore 248 should be the COP for top 10%.

This implies 10% of the cohort which is abt 4800 pupils score between 248 to 290, quite a gap huh...

Friend’s son got 248, but was not offered foreign language option, so I don’t think the cut off for top 10% is 248, could be higher.

Did he check the S1 form carefully? Because it was confirmed that someone with 248 was offered.
