          Can someone help with this ?

          Ming Xun had an equal number of blue and green marbles. After giving away 36 blue marbles and buying another 84 green marbles. he found that he had 4 times as many green marbles as blue marbles. How many blue marbles did Ming Xun have at first ?

          Thank you.

            5 units --> 84 + 36 = 120
            1 unit --> 120 รท 3 = 40 (Blue at last)
            40 + 36 = 76 (Blue in the end)

              4u-1u=84+36
              3u =120
              1u=40

              So at first, Blue marbles= 1u+36=76.

                    verykiasumummy:

                    1 - 2/5 = 3/5 (remainder)
                    3/5 x $480 = $288
                    1 - 1/4 = 3/4 (spent on 4 blouses)
                    3/4 x $288 = $216 (4 blouses)
                    $216 / 4 = $54 (each blouse)

                    ans : $54
                    verykiasummy & SarCha,

                    Many thanks for your help!
