My eldest ds who's 6 wants to be a train driver due to influence from Thomas & Trains toys. Recently, he changed his mind and wanted to be a Prime Minister as he's the most powerful man in Singapore.

My younger ds adores army as they hold gun. I said, my dear son....no worries, you'll have your chance when the time comes

My DS wants to be a plastic surgeon. He claims that he can beautify the people and makes the world a more beautiful place ๐Ÿ™‚

My DD wants to be a GP as she doesnโ€™t want to operate on people ๐Ÿ™‚

I will be happy if DS is a plastic surgeon cos that means I can get treatments FREE!!!

My DS1 wants to work for LEGO as a creator. He wants to create different models. Sigh, I think he plays too much...

While DS2 wants to be in the army. He said this way he gets to kill bad guys with guns!

DS3, too young to tell. Looking at his love for food, I think maybe a chef or food critic?

              ChiefKiasu:
I don't know what my maid has been feeding my 3yo daughter, but sometime back she said she wants to be a maid when she grows up  . When I woke up from my faint, I told her to go fetch me a cup of water and panadol, bring in my newspapers, kill some cockcroaches along the way, before she see to the poo-poo my dog has kindly deposited on the veranda. Since then, I never hear her repeat that \"ambition\" again.

My mother once told my daughter : \"If you don't study hard, you will end up working like your kakak (our maid)\" My girl said : \"Kakak's job is very good leh, she gets to eat maggie noodles whenever she likes\" ๐Ÿ˜‰ My girl likes to eat maggie noodles but she seldom gets to eat it.

                EN:
It does not matter how well my kids result are. What matter most is the effort that they have put in to accomplish the task.

The pressure really stems from parents who try to out do each other and comparing how well their children are in school. Education is a long journey. Top in primary school does not equate to a successful and happy life in the future.

Of course having said these, I nearly faint when my daughter told me (she was in P1 then) that she would like to work in a boutique, to be fashion advisor. She likes to draw different types of clothing & not bad in her fashion sense. So, I told her, she will have my blessing but she still must at least have basic education to carry her through.

My girl told me that she wants to be an artist or a fashion designer. I will ask her again when she is 15 years old. If she still wants to be a fashion designer, I will do my best to support her. Who knows she may become the next Vera Wang ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think my boy secretly wish to be a zookeeper ๐Ÿ˜‰ He loves animals.

Did you know - Vera Wang began life as a figure skater. Only when she quit skating around the time she was 20 then did she enter the fashion industry. ๐Ÿ™‚ So, you'll never know!

DS1 wants to be a fireman. DD2 is too young to articulate her ambition, but from her behaviour, likely she wants to be tai-tai

My DS1 (4yo) has quite \"ordinary\" ambitions... first it was a teacher, then astronaut, now it is astronomer. My DS2 (2yo) probably has no idea what I am talking about if I ask him that question, but he loves cars... but not driving them, he likes to park his cars... so maybe for now he is secretly wishing he can be a valet parking attendant?! ๐Ÿ˜„
