      Hi all,

Can anyone share with me more information about the school, like are the teachers on?, caring, do they always call the parents? and what about the prices of the canteen food, like how much to give (min) for a P3 Boy. I’m looking at transfering my son next year, that’s y all the questions.

      Thanks so much.

        Hi Ivy,

So far the teachers have been caring and nice. They don't always call me though, only once in a blue moon and I'm happy. hehe. because I think if they called me, it might be because my ds misbehaved? πŸ˜›

What they normally use to communicate with me is via email or through the student handbook.

I give my P3 ds $2 because he has to stay back almost every day of the week. It's only enough for food though, not drinks, and anything in the bookshop. πŸ™‚

          HI kabalevsky,

Thanks for your reply. I can see that the parents here are very active in this Forum.

We can’t wait to join CPS, and we are still waiting for the school’s reply. Is there anyway to expedite it, do you know?

          Rgds

Sorry, have only transferred my kid before P1 started and not after, so not sure about the process nor how to expedite it. BUt you can try calling the Gen office to ask?

Oh, just recalled, most schools will know their vacancies better after first week of Nov. That's when there is some reshuffling all over Singapore at the P3 level. πŸ˜†

Maybe you can try calling after first week of Nov. Those relocating overseas and also moving around to different schools may confirm nearer the end of term 4 too, so the school will have a better idea of the vacancies available for P4?

              wish you the best! πŸ™‚

                Hi Ivy! :hugs:

Yes, as what kabalevsky has suggested - probably you can try calling the general office perhaps in November or the last week of Term 4.

Your kid will be in P3 next year? As what I know, there are 10 classes of P2 (Integrity 1 to Integrity 10) this year. The P2 will be streamed to P3 classes - from a current class size of average 30 per class to an average of 40 per class in P3. So my guess is that there will be 8 classes of P3 (Compassion 1 to Compassion 😎 in Y2013. So, perhaps the school needs more times to sort out all these arrangement and administrative work before they can get back to you on the availability of vacancy for your child πŸ˜„

I wish you success in getting transfer to CPS and that he will have a fruitful and enjoyable schooling years :please:

but yes, her chances are high whether it is P3 or P4 next year. since there is reshuffling for both these levels due to increasing of class size from P2-P3 and then the movement of kids out due to \"transfers\" of the sort you shared with me last year.

that's great. P3 next year should be no problem. that means your ds will be in the same year as champ's dd2. πŸ™‚
