      Hi Ivy! :hugs:

Yes, as what kabalevsky has suggested - probably you can try calling the general office perhaps in November or the last week of Term 4.

Your kid will be in P3 next year? As what I know, there are 10 classes of P2 (Integrity 1 to Integrity 10) this year. The P2 will be streamed to P3 classes - from a current class size of average 30 per class to an average of 40 per class in P3. So my guess is that there will be 8 classes of P3 (Compassion 1 to Compassion 😎 in Y2013. So, perhaps the school needs more times to sort out all these arrangement and administrative work before they can get back to you on the availability of vacancy for your child 😄

I wish you success in getting transfer to CPS and that he will have a fruitful and enjoyable schooling years :please:

Champs, seems like her boy is already in P3. but i could be wrong. Ivy, can you clarify? 🙂

        her earlier post:
\"Can anyone share with me more information about the school, like are the teachers on?, caring, do they always call the parents? and what about the prices of the canteen food, like how much to give (min) for a P3 Boy. I'm looking at transfering my son next year, that's y all the questions.\"

but yes, her chances are high whether it is P3 or P4 next year. since there is reshuffling for both these levels due to increasing of class size from P2-P3 and then the movement of kids out due to \"transfers\" of the sort you shared with me last year.

Oh dear, I called up the school this afternoon to enquire about the status of the transfer, they said not yet, have to wait till end of Nov....sigh....and there'll be no orientation for the transfer children and the vacancy is tight....dunno what are the chances now. And the school does not hold open house? 🤷

The person who picks up the phone sounds so unhelpful, so negative....

                      Oh dear, Ivy.

hmm, the kids have just finished their exams, perhaps have to check back again next week? did they ask for your name and contact?

there is usually no orientation for transfer students, for most schools, because there isn’t a big enough number. however, you can ask us if you need any info!

next time, try to get the name of the person who picked up the call, perhaps then you can give some feedback to the school in future.

some of the general office staff are very very nice and friendly, hope you get one of them next time you call!
