Will the nov expo sale smaller than the usual book fest? I look forward to book fest every year sine my boy started pri schooling. In fact, i m one who take leave just to 'attend' the member only sale day...i can spent hours in the sale...i hope the expo one is as good.

Anyone has any idea what will be in the Expo sale as it is quite far compared to Suntec?

The first day at Expo is for members only...but be prepared for the crowd...it's really very crowded. It's only half the hall compared to Book Fest.
Aiyo..... Like that ar.... Means I should not bring my kid along. Anyone taking leave to go on members only day?
I am thinking of going in the evening (after work)

Usually I would go a few times but this round only 4 days, at expo some more.... Cannot after work lor... 家里的小公鸡 ( my son) sleeps early. Not enough time for me to browse.

            Back to ENGLISH ASSESSMENT BOOKS.

This holiday, I am going to drill my P2 gal in her comprehension & cloze.
Personally, I like Mastering Comprehension by Geetha Menon and Success in Comprehension by Manda Pullen.

                Yes Champion. That’s the ONE.

After going through the drills with son, I feel that certain components for English are more important…it’s necessary to overcome the fear for Comprehension OE. The other areas would be comprehension cloze, oral, compo, grammar cloze and vocab cloze. Speaking of this, I will task my son to coach his sister intensively this Nov/Dec. After spending quite a bit on his tuition, I feel that he should be able to do so.

That is good. Children learn more when they teach other kids. They try to be sure before they teach so they refer first before teaching.

                    :snuggles: :hugs: Mummy Janet.
It's great that your DS is able to coach your DD and that will spare with some free time :please:

For my 2 DDs - they are at loggerhead with one another! :pokeeye: They can never sit at the same study table neither do they want each other's companion for revision! :rotflmao:

OKie, back to English Assessment Book - judging from what P1 DD2 has used, think she is very comfortable using the following author's book and most likely I will get that for her P2 level next year 😄

I have not do any sourcing for DD1 as I need to sit down discuss with her to look at her weak areas before buying for P5 next year.
