janet, u can try puting nutella yourself...

my ds1 was crazy about nutella for a while and he practically eat everything with it before i put my foot down to stop him permanently..

u can still buy from kfc, put some nutella in a small metal dish and place it in a bowl of hot water... (melting the nutella will be easier to spread on the egg tart)

        sedap.... making me hungry now...

Tong Heng is opp temple. The shop beside is called Leung Sang HK pastries.

After 5pm, I think there is 50% discount on what is left.

but by then they are not freshly baked anyway

i think heating them in the oven just before eating makes it taste better... i always do that for all other egg tarts... haven tried tong heng though...

but wouldn’t that "dry" up the egg?

i warm the oven toaster first for 5mins… after that heat the egg tarts for about 2mins, 2 to 3 egg tarts at a time… no the eggs wun dry up… outside crispy and inside soft…

                  very hungry now… drooling…

Wrap tight in foil paper before toasting...then last few min, open foil to toast for pastry to be crisp...but must monitor or else egg will get burnt.
