At what age should you start to prepare for PSLE

Don't know how true...but it should not be very far off from this year...before children's day.

Don't know how true...but it should not be very far off from this year...before children's day.[/quote]actually knowing it earlier doesnt help much except to create more stress.... relax ba... just hope everything this yr is ok and not too bad....

Thought of 6 schools...worked out a list starting from 220 to 250 :xedfingers:

choose more janet… i chose like 12 or 15 last yr…


i compile them into an excel chart, with the pros and cons, as well as road directions to get there… once the results were out, i narrow down to 10 schs and choose from there…

I think we have chosen 10 schools...near hubby's office & home.
Not too far since there will be project work (meet up with classmates) and longer hours in school.
Also took out schools which offer Higher CL since son is not strong in Chinese.

good... i guess need not offer anything more than this cos i believe may parents will hv suggested...

but u may want to discuss and select a good cca for ur ds now.. the cca should be acc them for 4 good yrs in sec sch... in order to hv cca points deducted from their o'levels next time...

i just realised i put flags on 14 pages of the sec schools listing
as for cca, hubby & i have advised son to take those which do not require additional days to stay back...with more subjects to handle in a new environment, take it easy.

Math tutor scolded him every week...i asked her if he was stressed after every lesson, she assured me he wasn't...still in a world of his own, unaware of urgency.

oh mine...ur boy getting scolded every lesson??? This is horrid..

she didn't scold him very harshly...just very firm.

most cca needs to stay back... sports like volleyball, swimming, basketball, bowling, badminton, table tennis... etc.. students need to stay back in sch esp when it is tournament period... and these are the cca which will bring them the 2points for cca..
