u know to me, i find very confusing..

so many authors, so many difference teaching , so many believes.. duno which to follow..
We have all got to start somewhere. It's good that you are starting to do that now. better late than never. U don't need to believe in any one of them. Just read more and find out your options. But if you don't read, then you won't even know that u can do any of those things ESP now that your son isn't even attending therapy.

That's why all of us have advised u to bring your boy for therapy. U keep saying they aren't good. But you don't even know what is good. I think unless u are an expert in the field, it's better to stand back and let the experts do the work. It's like a layman telling a doctor how to operate when he doesn't even know how many ribs a person has. If u think you aren't so smart, then all the more don't act like u know better. We aren't experts here either. We can only give suggestions. Listen to the doctors and the therapists. They are trained personnel who can help your child.

          Mashy,
Ya I don't read . Very hard for me it's take me very long to read as I need to keep referring to dictionary.

Very time consuming. In my life I nevr been to library
What language are you most comfortable in? Try looking for books in the language you feel comfortable? Unless there are no Books on autism written in your preferred Lang?

            slmkhoo,

my son sleep the same time as me, around 11-12am… no chance he will sleep earlier then me.

hiaz. thanks slmkhoo. i duno why, cuz he is my only son. i have no1 to compare, so when i go shopping centre, i alway ask how old is your child and they are so verbalize… some younger & some older, i just cant help it but try to push my son to close the gap… i only he has gone so far already. on the other hand i still cant relax, worry he may fall behind again if i relax myself…

maybe i shld leave everything to GOD but back in my mind, i still feel tat, i still not not enough to help my son.with limitation of my intelligent.

i do not how to ask question well and i do not how to express myself well too.

but thank GOD, u mummies who have special needs child are all so born GOD-send… u all are so kind & share knowledge with me… at times i type broken english & did not ask well and still u all help me …

            Slmkhoo,

what is KSP? ya i only can read during lunch time or when i go toilet

oh ya, get my son labelled is a good start for me to get help especially here. and go to rainbow …

but i will not share w Child care anymore due to my bad experience whereby he get discriminated… and always labelled as "Trouble".

and with this i too will not share w my friends & family memembers, i do not wish them to treat him differently or see him as a freak.

Hi helplessmum3, I read on the bus to and fro work too. Reading is important to making informed decisions. The professionals may have their own preferences and it is important to be able to discuss with them. I had been suspicious of diagnosis and had obtained second opinion or even third opinion, thereby proving the first one wrong. I had picked out symptoms in DC which had been missed. I ask questions to evaluate the rationale, outcomes, side-effects…

I know it is hard to read when you have conflicting priorities, multiple roles and uncomfortable with the language but you may want to start taking baby steps by starting with easier reading materials. It will get easier with each reading.
On a separate note, every child walks a different path. We just need to have faith that they will find their way in the society.

Yes my son very sleepy I will give him milk n drag him out of house to school already.

His nap in school usually 1-3pm. So not so bad.

Upper truck is upper body muscle not tone or develop unwell.
So they get very tired if sit very long hour or hard to climb stairs.
