Really? And I thought my area was bad enough... Yours is worse...
Recently became an observer, didn't realise people bang table, pointing fingers and heated arguements during the meeting. The choice of words they used, so uncivilised.
Good luck to u... :xedfingers:
Eh... I thought u are an \"old bird\" in KSP... How come observer nia? -

This is common scene during meeting. Depends on the area, who is the MP and what are the top primary schools. Usually there are many observers queuing up to become EM.

Yours is a transfer case, unfortunately need to re-queue again. However, your membership term with PA will not affected. You are still in the upper hand when need to apply phase 2B. -
Some of the RC have more than 10 observers, all waiting to become members and then reap benefit of 2B. How long are these people willing to wait as observers? Should 2B benefits be expended to those who spend too much time as observers?

Maybe those observers only attend meeting just to sign attendance and didn't appear mostly in other events organised by the RC? If the committee is getting full, probably they will only want new members that are very active and will help
But there are cases whereby the committee are really full and the active observers will just have to wait for someone to resign. But don't think members will want to resign. There are other benefits and if you stay long enough... there are long service award too. Maybe even can get yourself a national award or PBM...Hhahaha -

Long Svr award is nothing lah....just a piece of paper. PBM is more useful long term but hard to come by...priority is for active GRLs who are also party members.karenmok:

Some people got the PBM title not necessary in the executive level. There was a person who has speech problem, hold a PBM title after GE 2006. Heard that this person helped out in MPS. During 2006 election, this person put up and took down the banners for that particular MP. That person is a hardworking but unable to express him/herself well.

I am sorry to post such basic questions but I m really confused.
I approached west coast pa months back, was told I could only volunteer at nc as my place is within private estate.
But nc is too full.
Want to ask about rc, but was told I was not eligible.
Asked about CCC, was told they need people roped in from rc and nc. Though CCC does need people but transitions seem lacking.
Asked about CDC, was to,d they prefer people from CCC and u must be at least district counciliors to qualify.
Last left with CCCmc. But wat is CCCmc? Where and I find info on net to register?
All these c r driving me nuts lol -
winnieng78:
CCMC not CCCMC, it's Community Club Management Committee. See my reply to you in another thread. RC is for HDB/public housing dwellers, not for private housing residents. Anyway, as I replied you, you're probably too late to go by GRL route now for P2B.I am sorry to post such basic questions but I m really confused.

The NC says can't take in anymore observers?
Like that very difficult. Any neighbours you know, can pull string. Some members are not active at all.
