Another thing.. some of those MNCs.. really cannot understand their business decisions.. it's like losing a few factories or a few months production is nothing to them.. if they are still so profitable with all those damages.. that means they can well afford operations in SG.. but for whatever reason they just don't want to.
That's exactly what we've been trying to tell you.

SG ain't as attractive as you make it out to be, compared to other places.

So please, no more flippant \"We have other reasons why companies want to be here.\"

We're in a fight, and we gotta fight hard.

Fight means must make some sacrifice lah! Not at some cost, then what kind of fight are we putting up?!

If other people willing to make sacrifices but Singaporeans cannot, then how to win the fight?

If we lose the fight, the well-being of locals WILL be compromised!

Why you still don't get it?

Agree with you. GDP is up, TRF is down. FT descends on the infrastructures, local enjoys the crowd and inflation. What is happening now is very good for Singapore but not very good for Singaporean.

So everyone fight on our behalf except Singaporeans......

Please keep in context what this current thread (limlim's reply to my reply) of discussion is about. It's about fighting to retain our industries, and preserve high value jobs for Singaporeans by doing so.

You retain high value jobs.. but it doesn't go to locals.. then.. what's the point..? of coz, in the process, big boss makes big bucks..

So lets lynch them, chase them out so that they make their big bucks elsewhere.

Lim2 did not say chase them away. only asking for fair play and no discrimination of locals.
