Sorry if this has been asked before, would there be special members’ discounts/promotions on the Members’ Preview day of the Popular Fair at Expo next month? Thanks!

Lowdown on Times bookfair. Overall, I feel can go.

Many non-fiction titles (horrible series [sticker - refer to pricing below], scholastic, national geographic). Some fiction titles (saw Captain Underpants $4 per book, but else not that many authors I was familiar with). Kids books start from $3 per book (even a Nat Geo book on frogs), some are $5.

            Books with stickers are $8 a book - 3 for $20, 5 for $30, 10 for $50.

There are stationery items - eg plastic folders, notebooks, faber castel colour pencils that sort of thing. Sorry I didn’t venture to the General/adult section.

If you have a copy of today’s (25 Oct) Today paper, there is a tiny advert in the supplement. cut it out for a FREE Times membership. Thereafter if you buy $50 and more, you can claim a book (stickered ones only) for free. The membership is valid till Dec 2014.

FYI, can claim linkpoints for your purchases, so remember to bring.

maybe should put disclaimer. I didn’t feel the Horrible series were cheap - $8 a book if you only buy 1, lowest is $5 a book if you can get 10.

But in view that John Little sale is history and the $3 a book is unlikely to be repeated…those who want to buy many titles can still consider.
