Packing up DS’s study room. Kinda sad that while doing all the crazy chase to cope in school, study and PSLE…and now 6 years just passed by and he’s grown up soon to be a teenager. If only schooling was more relaxing, we could have spend so much more time doing fun things together. Longer vacations, weekend outings … …

Hey, I know how you feel. When son was in P4 onwards, weekend outings were a luxury. This year P6, drive through Mac quite often...yours truly here needs chocolate and strawberry sundaes. I cleared son's cupboards & shelves with a tinge of sadness too...but have to learn to let go. 6 years, not long but not short either...just zoomed by without us realizing.
Now that we can sit back, I wonder where the time has gone...feel like some granny sitting on a rocking chair reminiscing the time when he was still in diapers. -

Yap, those diaper days when we could hug and cuddle them and enjoy the joy of parenthood. Somehow those 6 years are so wasted in so many ways.fifiyeo:

What do you all do during the weekends? We still have weekend outings quite often.

Now that ALL exams are over...we go out either IMM, BP Plaza or West Mall...just hit it. But now, I am making them clear up the mess they created...my younger one is at home as teachers are preparing the move to temp holding site. :rahrah:
This Thur Nov 1, I told hubby I want to watch Skyfall, the latest James Bond movie. Need to plan something for son to do...seeing him so free is a little worrying. My friend asked me to get him to read 成语 comics...at least not so dry. -

Feeling jealous. My DD still got 3 more exams until 1 Nov. -

Darling, you think I am really so cool? I am actually treading on thin ice, but can't do anything but distract myself.

After 26 days (including today 27), I am slowly on the mend...but still refusing to think of anything related to work...but YES to clearing the room of books and files...and VERY OK thinking where to go everyday

Overnight, my son seemed to have grown to become a teenager. Would it be better if he had been home-schooled instead? Then at least we will enjoy their growing up years.
